Terms and Conditions
Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Vega ("The Platform"), a player-versus-player (PvP) competitive environment operating on the Solana and Ethereum blockchains. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform and its associated games, including the initial release, Dash ("The Game").
By connecting your wallet, accessing the website, or participating in any game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are strictly prohibited from using the Platform.
The Services (Skill-Based Gaming)
The Platform provides a competitive interface where users deploy skill and strategy to outperform other players.
Dash Mechanics: Dash is a Battle Royale style competition where players curate a portfolio of whitelisted tokens2. The objective is to use market knowledge to achieve higher portfolio performance than opponents within a set timeframe (e.g., 1 to 3 minutes)3333.
No Gambling: You acknowledge that Dash is a game of skill, speed, and strategic portfolio management. Outcomes are determined by your ability to select performing assets relative to live market conditions, not by chance.
Non-Custodial: The Platform is non-custodial. We do not hold, store, or manage your digital assets. All transactions occur directly between players via smart contracts on the blockchain4.
Eligibility and Restricted Jurisdictions
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to access the Platform. Access is strictly prohibited if you are a citizen, resident, or located in the following jurisdictions ("Restricted Jurisdictions"):
United States of America
United Kingdom
Costa Rica
Any jurisdiction currently under sanctions by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or widely recognized international sanctions regimes.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any Restricted Jurisdiction. We reserve the right to implement geo-blocking and KYC (Know Your Customer) measures to enforce these restrictions.
Beta Testing and Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that the Platform is in a BETA testing phase.
Software Risks: The underlying code, matching engines, and smart contracts may contain bugs, errors, or vulnerabilities.
Financial Risk: You understand that participating in PvP matches involves digital assets (e.g., SOL, Stablecoins) 6 and that you may lose the entirety of your wagered amount to other players.
No Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Platform, its developers, and affiliates accept zero liability for any loss of funds, data, or profit resulting from your use of the service, including smart contract failures or blockchain network errors.
Network Liquidity and Matching. To ensure a continuous and competitive gaming environment, the Platform reserves the right to employ proprietary liquidity solutions and to share fees in the execution of these solutions. You acknowledge that you may be matched against liquidity providers, market makers, or other network participants operated by or affiliated with the Platform ("Network Participants"). All Network Participants are bound by the same game rules, logic, and winning criteria as any other user. The Platform makes no distinction between varying types of opponents in the matchmaking process.
Fees and Payments
Platform Fee: The Platform charges a transaction fee (currently set at 10%) on the total value of the pot or transaction8888.
Fee Changes: We reserve the right to modify the fee percentage at any time without prior notice.
Taxes: You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes that apply to your transactions.
User Conduct and Prohibitions
You agree not to use the Platform for any of the following:
Illegal Activity: Engaging in money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illegal activity under the laws of your jurisdiction or the Governing Law.
Market Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate token prices or game outcomes through collusion, exploits, or other dishonest means.
Sanctions Evasion: Using VPNs or other methods to mask your location if you are in a Restricted Jurisdiction.
Sanctions and Enforcement
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without notice. If we suspect you are violating these Terms, laws regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or Sanctions regulations, we are authorized to:
Block your wallet address.
Withhold, freeze, or disclose transaction data to relevant authorities.
Take any other action required by law or deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration administered in the Cayman Islands. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
. RISK DISCLOSURES & USER REPRESENTATIONS
By accessing the Services and connecting your digital wallet, you hereby represent, warrant, and agree to the following:
Sophistication and Knowledge: You possess a sufficient degree of understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets (including Solana and SPL tokens), and cryptographic wallets to understand the inherent risks associated with these technologies.
Volatility and Value: You understand that the markets for digital assets are highly volatile and that the value of the assets used in the Game (e.g., SOL, USDC) may fluctuate significantly. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any financial losses resulting from market volatility during gameplay.
Private Keys and Security: You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and wallet seed phrases. The Platform has no access to your wallet and cannot recover your funds if you lose access to your credentials or if your wallet is compromised.
Blockchain Network Risks: You accept the risks associated with the underlying blockchain network, including but not limited to transaction delays, network congestion, high gas fees, and the potential for protocol instability or "forks." The Platform is not responsible for failed transactions or losses due to blockchain network failures.
Regulatory Uncertainty: You acknowledge that the regulatory regime governing blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, and skill-based gaming is uncertain and evolving. New regulations or policies may materially adversely affect the Services or your ability to access the Platform.
No Investment Advice: You agree that the Services are provided for entertainment purposes only. No information provided by the Platform constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.
Irreversibility of Transactions: You understand that blockchain transactions are immutable and irreversible. Once a wager is placed or a fee is paid, it cannot be refunded or reversed by the Platform.
